LOL I tried REALLY hard to get through that whole paragraph without dozing off. I think you should think about what you want to say before you type it. I'll explain it in a more detailed manner this time. The parrot fish IN THE VID isn't used to test anything. They may or may not using a parrot to test fertility but it's not gonna be the same vid we see. In KAMFA fertility is usually checked when they're MUCH larger than what we tend to purchase. In the vid's you and I see the parrot is used to make the male fish display which makes them nicer to look at. Thus showing a better point of purchase.
Anyway you can think what you like. You win lol. I must be incorrect. Again I say I'm not upset. Just telling you that you're incorrect and apparently you got mad "Brah." Hope you get your situation figured out but to be honest with you I could order a fish from Chon and get THAT fish in 2 weeks (because my transshipper already received her last shipment for the month yesterday). I must be the one that's mis-informed (he's definitely getting a little over-zealous with the red lights though). I think all scams, be it for fish, for credit cards, for bank accounts, for identity theft, etc. Are all meant to draw in 1 type of person.....................

Again you disagree and that is fine because I disagree with you as well. You think that's what they are doing with the parrot fish in the tank that's fine I have my thoughts too and they are obviously the opposite of your own. Culling, yes your right on the spelling. I think I made myself very clear pertaining to reason of what I said so we can leave it at that and again agree to disagree. I know you know your fish man I see your collection. You have good taste in FH as do I and we keep similar high quality fish. We just have different opinions on this topic. I have mine form learned experience and yours you have from where ever you got it from probably the same. All good.

We can use parrots in both ways, to allow the male to be dominant and to check our Males fertility.

Yeah bro I know Julie well she does all the transhipping for CA. I have been receiving fish form her for years. I do not like to buy direct from her though as she tends to get the mid grade stuff most of the time and it's not what I am into. Good prices yes but the fish are just not my flavor. Good shipper though and nice lady got to meet her at the last competition after all these years.
 
I get most of my info talking to Pop of 9.9 and from Wut LakefishEx (and obviously some from personal experience)
They may or may not be credible lol.
P.S. 2 Kamfa (i.e. F2 x F2) DO NOT make another nicer Kamfa. I don't really like discussing the ideas on breeding because none of it is known by us for certain. There are a few things I know though and that's one of them. It's different in the lineages in SRD and ZZ and KML. That's why the generation IS VERY important in Kamfa.
P.P.S. I think the hammer is coming down on Chon but not from us. What the USA FH market does doesn't really impact these guys. The Asian markets are where they make their money and they can get hurt and I'm getting the sense that that door is closing in on him. Either way, if you want to continue this discussion without getting heated over it I don't mind having a debate with you whether it's by PM or on a thread. Just remember that not everything is as it seems and that post count on MFK doesn't mean anything, especially when it comes to hybrids.
 
I would rather share info with good hobbyist man not argue and fight with them. Personally I still think you can get a decent fish out of x2 second gen Kamfa may not be as good as the breeder parents but if you breed decent fish together you might get some crap but you also can get something decent too. Not a big deal we don't fully agree with one another you seem to have decent knowledge on the FH subject as do I. Guys like us in the FH game are to and far between and good to know. I would rather trade info and experience on the subject then ague with you. There is already far too much drama in the fish world as is especially in the hybrid communities something I got burnt on long ago, and part of the reason I rarely post info and updates on fish I keep. Glad you got your money back. If you're not looking for a female but you want some high quality hit me up. I've purchased from and been an agent for Pop @ 9.9 for a little while now I'm sure we could find something you like.
The more generations you water down kamfa the more you get what the US public likes to call KML. Basically weaker finnage, MAYBE bigger koks, more watered down mouth and face. You won't get "Show-quality" you'll still get colorful and pearly which if thats what you're looking for is great but it's not show quality. THAT'S why F-number in kamfa is so important. Also, if you're looking for a female hit me up in a month or so, I bred a suer colorful Syns to a red KK/SRD female. Should get some decent F1's out of it but who knows. It's a HUGE batch.
