Just basing it on standard judging, but keep in mind that a 9-10 are considered as master piece by standard. But to each and their own liking, they all have different rating. I only try to base it out as accurate as possible on how a judge at ILC or any other hosted flowerhorn show would rate it. ;)

agreed ^ I said might be a 9 or 10.if it turns out to be a 10 that's top notch.dont get me wrong it's a real nice fish but it's all on your liking that's what matters.

Yeah I meant 9-10 IMO, but who knows could be a masterpiece someday

You would be hard pressed to find 9-10 and they cost much more than a couple hundred. It all comes down to body shape, flowerline, pearling, finnage, kok size, eye color, and body color. Ours will not be 9 or 10 but might 6-8. Yours will probably have a larger kok and mine will probably be more pearly.

I agree your fish will most likely be in the 5-7 range but still nice fish for hobbyists.

no it doesnt have the tail to be an 8

Honestly bro, if this fish was to really put at a ILC show or any flowerhorn show. It would not even touch the 5/10 mark, sorry but its the way how flowerhorn quality works. Even the ones that Julie is selling right now will have a hard time trying to even get a 7/10 at its prime time for show.
Even all these show champ from Thailand/Vietnam/Malaysian area would have a hard time getting a 9/10. And the reason is because one fish have something that is perfected but one part that isn't. All these champ fish are champ, but they never seem to get full perfected score base on head, tail, fins, body structure, pearls, coloring etc. If lucky, you get one or two traits that hits a perfect score. Not to say that your fish is no good, but I thought it is something that we can use to understand how tough flowerhorns quality are really determined when your talking about going by standard. :)
