Not so, they breed true for the most part so they are a pure strain so to speak. It would be very rare to get a white eyed fish from silk X silk so I would suspect a white eyed silk is from a cross yes.
actually thai silks originally known as blue diamond are a result of line breeding to isolate the gene that creates large pearls to say that their 100 cross breeds is preposterous Aggressions is right its rare to see a thai silk with white eyes their eye color range from yellow to red if you do see one its not a thai silk it's most likely a snow or platinum which are also rare but are solid white not blue
