Thai Silk Update

Here is my Thai Silk when I got him on 1/25/10:

His body shape seemed a little wierd to me, and I have been trying to pump him up so I can see how he is going to develop.

It's been 3 weeks since I got him, and here are some pics from tonight:

His head is starting to take on a little better shape. I would prefer a larger kok at this size, but I am pleased with the progression after 3 weeks.
 
you have to be really patient with titanium silk as they develop really slow....I'm raising one since May 09....& he develops SLOW but i think the outcome should be very good....What are you feeding yours?

Yeah, I have heard that they grow slower than other Flowerhorns. I feed mine Chingmix (SP that I had left over, and now Headbooster that I just got), shrimp, and bloodworms. He doesn't really like any other pellets that I have tried.

it's interesting that you say that....Because after owning mines for so long....i just realized my Titanium is a picky eater when it comes to pellets as well....

My pleasure! Glad I finally got one.

Well, they haven't gotten it on yet, but they're getting on okay...a lot better than I expected.
