Remember its a new breed, I would get any! The fact is currently most have no head potenital and as they get bigger some will fade and others will out grow the full pearl. There will just be pale patches were the pearl used to be.

It will be interesting to see how they develop. I hope the new owners here in the US will keep us updated with pics throughout the progression of thier specimens.

And what do you base your evidence on? You obviously don't know very much at all. They're selected for these traits, and do any other "nice" flowerhorns lose all their colors and markings as they mature? NO. So why would it be different for a Thai Silk?
