mine is about 7in.growth has tapered off and his crap is always kinda stringy,but he seems to be fine,eats like a horse

thanks animal guy did what you said and he's starting to come back around. first pic was of him when all he could do was stay angled downward. second pic was last night he started to swim around straight. i also added epsom salt to the water to help and he had poop all over the quarantine tank.
in most o these bloat cases, people's fish usually don't make it through.. I think it is the quick action that saved him. Good job.

Yeah from everything I read it wasn't looking to good for him. But I'm glad it worked.
I'm not going to put him back in that tank, going to put him in my other 125. I'll clearing out a few of those residents within the week.
