yeah the man with a funny accent from "Hooked: Monster Fish" on NG channel where they were trying to catch monster rays.

I knew they had pimas over there. Didn't know they had all the others. Probably good for business in thailand.

i was watching a john wilson program where he was in thailand and was fishing this huge pond stocked with all sorts of stuff from all over the place but mainly not thailand.
quite a few of the fish shown above were there.

In one way it is very cool, especially the ones endangered in their native habitats, but I bet it is hard on the natives.

He's pretty much a legendary fisherman in his own right. He does currently hold the world record stingray, and has been a guide for many many years. On another note I've visited his site for years, and they have a section about women fishing. Some cute girls in there with some big fish including some huge mekongs!! He practices catch and release so he's ok in my book. He fishes mainly for natives, but they have stocked so many rtc, tsn, rtc x tsn hybrids, and many other fish it's just crazy. I emailed him once about the hybrid and apparently he's caught them over 44" and around 50 lbs.

I agree, Thailand has an impressive selection of their own natives as well.

Check out the site guys, it's loaded with great pictures.

HE is very well known, in fact. I would love to have those fish in the wild over here!!

I guess they keep them in artificial lakes, dams, etc....they're not all over, I think.

Those fish are insane!!!! The clown knife are enormous! I'm definitely stopping by Thailand when I go to visit my buddy in Singapore.
