with lots of help from all of you this mini monster was born...now i just gotta build the wall and stock it:hitting:

info
75g w/ aquaterra canyon rock gray background
FX5 with my now missing DIY picture post spray bar
50 lbs pool filter sand
built in stand (75% )with 6 plug gfi on its own breaker and built in drain (4 hour project if i ever buy the pipe)

added bonuses:WHOA:
learned how much fun it is to remove the upper trim from a brand new aquarium...then learned how much more fun it is to get it off in one piece and crack the hell out of the corner the next day because of stupidity...then learned to repair it...lots more to do but thought it was ready enough to share

wow! that is gorgeous. I love tanks with backgrounds, it seems worth the cost when you have a large enough show tank because, IMO it makes a whole lot of difference in the general appearance and grandeur of the tank. What's the stock going to be? JMO, a nice sized tiger oscar would look fantastic in that, but again, JMO. Well done, well done.

very nice monster tank.. and welcome to MFK

thanks for comments but really the bulk of the ideas came from this forum...i only have room for one tank right now so i wanted to do it right
2 choices both Lake Tanganyika

Altolamprologus calvus/comp x3 (1 species)
Cyprichromis leptosoma school...8-12...not sure
Julidochromis transcriptus x1
shellies or sand sifter group...species will determine how many
Synodontis multipunctatus 2 or 3
or
Tropheus group...

leaning toward 1st group .

PS...after what ive seen on these forums this in no way qualifies as monster ..most seem to have sumps bigger but till the last kid moves out and i can convert basement from Jam room to fish room true monster will have to wait...

Awesome!!!

Oddball - you gave new meaning to the term feeder fish when you swallowed that thing hu?
