Am I the only one who finds it fishy that we're getting this nice Economic Stimulus Package but at the same time Gas has sky rocketed yet again?

Just in time for summer too.

One of the finanical people on the radio today said we'll see $6.00/g if it'll make you feel better.

Don't put much into it though. Have to wait to see how it all plays out. But IMO get all your finances in order now in case you really get crunched later.

I ENTIRELY agree!!! Here were always getting news like "some gas stations tried to bring up the price of gas yesterday but their attemp failed as not all stations did so. They claim they will soon try again however. " Its like a
fu_ _ ing game of "lets see just how much we can push it without people giving up on driving their car" .

Its totaly ridiculous! They do these "analyse predications" just to make the sudden price rises appear a little smoother. They predicted it will rise to like 1$70 in, for example, may, but of course it "only" gets to 1$28 so people are like "few it was not that bad after all, were lucky!" So the prices sky rocket like mad but they hope because of this "stratagem" people will be okay with it cause they will feel its "not so bad after all".

Its so disgusting... oil companies so don't need the freakin extra money!!
The whole economy can soooo crash simply because of the higher morrons up there who don't give a damn about the rest of the world. They know our society can't yet run without oil, so they will just put it up... we can't just stop needing it.. they know this and they will just keep taking advantage.
