I would just kinda like to say Thanks to all the Guys that were helping me get going. True I'm really just starting out the Fish keeping Hobby but i do have some big plans for once i move back to TX and get a decent house. My Chem levels have all stabled out thanks to the wonderful help and i just recently got my third of the 4 fish i plan to keep in this tank. For the time.. once i Move I will be getting a larger tank to move them all in. I also have some recent pics with the new fish in. I even went ahead and got the hood for my tank. Just a plane one for now, so again.. Thanks for the help, I plan to ask lots more questions as need arises. Heres some of the recent pics!..

Oh yeah... My Gold Gourami is really mean to the new Blue one (at the LFS it didn't say "Blue" it started with a "O") and between the normal blue and his breed.. His had a much nicer color pattern.. IMO

LOL to late.. I've already got plans of a 125G fresh water.. at least one. a few smaller ones.. 80's, 50's, then SW One in the 400G range.. and maybe another in the 200G range.. Wife wants like a 6000G or something.. something she can fill with non biting fish (SW) and out on scuba gear and go play with them...

you should just move down to key west . lol

You can swim in freshwater easier without disturbing the tank water too much and have colourful fish. But a in-home reef that you could swim in would give mose old people a heart attack. Saltwater fish DO bite. Have you ever seen a Clown Trigger pissed off?

No.. I've not seen many pissed off fish.. thankfully.. maybe when i was lake fishing =P... either way.. before we could have a "pool" to swim with any fish I'm looking for that winning Lotto ticket.

We talked with some one selling a tank its a 20G And I'm not sure of all the details but tank, hood, filter, stand. with three Convict Cichild's.. Now I know I don't know a lot about them but looking up a little they seem to basically need what i already have (food i mean) we want to put the tank in the bed room. the guy wants $50 for everything and will bring it here to the house.. good deal?

Wheather its a good deal or not depends on what filter, heater and light etc he actually has. If its just the el cheapo junky stuff, then pass. BUT. If he has a nice sized, good quality heater, pretty good filter, and an appropriate light, then it may be worth your while.

Ask him what is his selling. Just saying 'filter' is like saying I want to sell you a car without telling you the make, model, age, power, transmission etc.
