Just wanna say thank you all so much for helping guide me in the right directions the past few months. When I first joined, let’s be honest, i was dumb and thought I knew it all. My tank was a roller coaster going up and down and just all around. But haven’t really gotten a chance to say thank you to all of you that helped me get my tank set up right. Won’t lie, there have been so many times that be wanted to just give up and get rid of all my aquarium and fish stuff but I’m too stubborn to give up and now I got an amazing flowerhorn. Since I’ve joined this site I’ve met so many amazing members, learned so much and seen so many awesome fish and tanks. Again thanks you to everyone who’s been helping along the way, I really appreciate you all

The forum would be a boring miserable place if it was full of experts. We need young inexperienced members too to hopefully grow in the hobby, with our guidance of course, so thank you young man.

forms are generally full of helpful people who want to share knowledge and lessen learning pains for others!

Our hobby is definitely a small one. It is hard to find others interested. The forms help a ton! New and old fish keepers!

I agree, the hobby isn’t the biggest or most popular but one of the most fascinating because you get to see behavior of wild fish turned domestic and the changes they’ve had to adapt to in aquarium setting.

Glad we’ve been able to help. I started out doing lots of stupid things, from avoiding water changes to keeping a piranha with other fish (and not learning after its first kill).
It’s not easy doing it alone, so it’s great to have all of these wonderful people here to help!

Glad we’ve been able to help. I started out doing lots of stupid things, from avoiding water changes to keeping a piranha with other fish (and not learning after its first kill).

Wasn’t thinking monopoly man look, I know a bunch of Mandela effects lol. I think esoxlucius has a thread where there’s a picture of him but I still picture him the way my mind wants to.

There is a recent picture of me on the forum sporting my new glasses, I need them for my artwork, but I can't remember which thread it's in.

I'm certainly not short and stubby. My build is very much like that of a pro cyclist, lean and fit as a butchers dog, lol.

And the monocle gag is very apt actually. I am now the proud owner of some land in Scotland and by law I am allowed to call myself a lord, except on passports and driving licences. I've already contacted C Chicxulub about changing my forum name to "LordEsox", but he hasn't replied yet.

So, shortly, and hopefully, "esoxlucius" will be gone.
