Yea she is. I might just grow them out in a bigger tank 55+ and try that, they get stressed to easily in small tanks (ammonia, water changes water flow etc.) yesterday i still had a good school of 60+ today i came back from school and they just disappeared, only like 10 now, they just are gone no body no nothing. Cant be filter cause i have 2 sponge filtersgangster;4682340; said:Steve are they gettn ready to kick out more eggs? Or is she? You should set up another tank or 2 and keep the ball rollin $$$.
HULON;4670859; said:Steve don't do any water changes unless the water is bad that could be killing them just check you amonia everyday.....
Thanks it's like 5 now lol, getting closer everytime!gangster;4688369; said:Ouch....a bigger tank would make life much easier......Keep those 10 alive. And get that bigger tank rolln for the new batch. The ten or so you have left shouldnt be too messy so tank maintanance should be quite easy.
parents eat the eggs so one or the other has to go. Wrestling 17" male peacock bass is no funbridgefisher;4690223; said:^+1
I have bred Rhampsochromis, Tyrannochromis, peacock cichlids, green terrors dont move the eggs, move the parents if neccessary. no water changes until yolk is gone. it worked for me well. never let the eggs hit air.
Congrats by the way, a couple hundred is very respectable result. I would be happy with 100 even. Good luck.
