He ate some squid yesterday, about an hour after being in the tank, and some earlier today.I threw four apple snails in there today, also, but he hasn't really touched them yet. Not sure if he really knows what to do yet.

Getting him some smelt, shrimp, and scallops later tonight to see what else he will eat. But it has just been squid so far.
 
mine loves earth worms... i havent tried crays or anything like that yet..

mine likes to take its time to eat also
 
I have just been hand feeding him squid tenticles, will pickup some earthworms tonight too.

Dont waist your money on earth worms right now. Pick up some shelled inverts, crays, shrimp, maybe small crabs
 
I'll get some grayfish then, you think he is big enough to tackle a clam yet.
