same, I'm kinda getting a little annoyed just because the fact that i'm gona have to get rid of all but 1 of them.... due to what i've been hearing....

Things are never set in stone. People have housed fish together that should never co exist. I have also seen mangrove jacks in a community setup in full freshwater in a huge tank. I am going to be getting one or two soon and will be attempting to comm them in a fairly large tank 600+

I'll ask for a discount, if i wanted mangrove snappers i would have cought them. I'm not 100% annoyed with the order, i mean there amazing fish, its just i didn't plan on having to seperate the fish, and now i have 1 less tank.
