Looking pretty good. Buddha your pair are still the best i've ever seen. Have they shown any kinda interest in spawning at all?

tubes were down last week,and the female was looking kinda plump,and the male was cleaning the flower pot,then a few days later NOTHING.I think the pearsei stops the male they are always sparing(going to move him soon and then see)
hungry homer you should get a few tankmates for yours they do great with tank mates and seem to interact well with other fish.
very over looked fish,they are easy to care for,colorful,and very show peice worthy.
how big is yours now and how many months?

There are Bocourti from different locations, I am finding out. Do you know if there is a difference in coloring between the 2. I have 2 that I purchased from my LFS and 5 from Gage (golden mojara). I have seen many pictures of them but only a few show the colors that yours (buddha) do. Any help is appreciated.

As for yours double H, it is starting to look really nice. Of topic, what is the fish in your avatar?

madness i can tell you for a fact that the ones you got from gage are from the same location as mine(mine came from conkel) and in time you should be very pleased with them.(if you need any tips just give me a holla)

I want to get my hands on a male like yours as a show piece in my 300tall im pulling together. Man that is the best looking one I have ever seen! Who is gage...is he on here? I would love to get a 4-5" male.

My 5 inch bocourti male keeps chasing my 7 inch female....I am guessing they are male and female....they are in a large tank and my female gets close to my Synspium male(8inches) and the the bocourti male backs off.....what tips are there to bring more
colors out???/

Also she is full bodied and he is slimmer and more stream lined....

my male chases my female alot also,as long as he is not hurting her they should be fine.
My experience with bringing out color is variety intheir diet and very large water changes,when i was only doing 50% they would never color up but since i have been doing 75-80% once a week they have been holding great colors.
