not even close . good luck with that anyways ...:shakehead

Flash kills it but this male is mainly a purple irridescent (spelling ?) and seems to glow metallic purple along the lateral line and the flesh around the fins. I will have to take more pictures lol

What r u breeding the con with to get purple???
Some cons show purple but some have a better purple base color than others. I've had all kinds of body and eye color combinations from different spawns like my female with Orange eyes. The male pictured is from my first generation purple base / purple eye breeding and both of the parent fish came from spawns of wild type x pink con. I have fry right now that are showing a noticeably irridescent purple color. Very shiny compared to a regular con.

I got a kick out of your comment. You posted that you hated "man made fish" in the least favorite fish thread, yet here you want to create one.

Ebjd are man made as well. Even if you believe the original breeders fairy tale about their origin and don't think they are hybrids. They are selectively bred ie man made. I dig ebjd as well :)

they are not man made. it is a natural gene and can occur in the wild too. Though likely less common than with selective breeding, EBJD's can and do occur in the wild as well.
