I was not trying to knock your dreams of a multiple sp tank. I too am going for the same look. I lost some fish to not matching or picking tank mates correctly and 2 out of 6 were in your list. I think it is possiable to do what we want, it just takes multiple LARGE tanks. I have raised 24 out 28 cichlids. But I do have all the cichlids I want in my dream tank (SAME SIZE AS YOURS) LOL but GL and don't give up. I would try to get a cichla bigger then the rest of your collection and let him be the pit boss because they slow down at 15'' but in reallitythe cichla will out grow the rest of them he will just have to do it seperatly.

Yeah I know man, thanks for looking out. I'll give it another shot down the road for sure. Next time I'm going to toss in the Emperor cichlid to the mix.

Haha, yeah, no thanks, lol. Thanks for the offer though. I'm just going to try to get a (few) young (ones) later on from my lfs who says they can get their hands on anything from ocells to monos to tems to orinos. They also had a wild Orino available for special order, at 6", but it would be $100+. Worth it? Lol, I'd rather order 4 of the small ones and raise them up, even if they aren't wild caught.
