I drive about 2 hrs. one way to get to TFP every month. Fish stores by me kinda suck- never have any stock and the prices are higher. TFP does carry some oddballs from time to time- no necessarily monsters in size but I have gotten some of my puffers there- got an orange congo- not an easy to find fish- at a very reasonable price. Right now they have Mbus and Fahaka puffers in stock along with figure8s and GSP ( like the fact they keep larger more aggressive fish in individual tanks).
