Well, I don't hunt deer really anymore and no license for that this year, so not me. Mostly mulies out here, but there are some Whitetail on the Eastern Plains (and creeping further and further west). I love whitetail...mule deer not so much...but elk is def tastier to me (unless it's an old bull). And you get a lot more meat 
My dad and I are taking my 13 year old niece elk hunting this weekend! So excited to have someone from that generation interested in hunting. I got a license, too, but have another one for the month of December in Unit 1. Dinosaur is where the largest herd of elk in the US migrate to for winter and it's in unit 1. I'm really hoping she gets one. Would like to shoot one at 500 yards this year (450 last year), but any range is good...just want the meat. OMG! I use a .264 mag, too...how can that be big enough? LOL
