Just so I know, how do you purge a worm? Thats always been my fear with feed bait store earth worms to my fish is that I have no idea what all is in the medium they grow them in.

Put in sandy loam sterile topsoil for a day or three depending on how active they are. I've used shredded newspaper too.
Oh, by the way earthworms are at best 14% protein.
