I love the JAde goby, i had one i got at about 3" and raised it to about 8" before it died unfortunately... Did yours swim Vertically, like basically tail down, and head straight up? mine would never ever swim horizontal! it was the best fish ever.. doesnt look too pretty, but never have i ever had a fish with so much personality. My goober is what i calle dhim. what do u feed your jades? mine ate fish, pellets, flakes, frozen food, anything at all! truly a good fish!@

The jades will eat anything I give them including frozen squid. As far as the swimming.. I had a picture of it somewhere but recently had some pc issues so not sure I still have it. Yea if they arent sitting on the bottom or a rock somewhere they do the stand/hover thing. I still love seeing it when they do it. I need to catch a pic of the smaller one that does jsut that behind the power head.

Also- Sorry for your loss. They are great fish. My LPS has a small for sale is anyone is looking...

YEa hes really cool, but mine always liked to hover, he/she took about 3 weeks to get comfy in my tank, it at first always hide behind my plants. But then that was the most casual fish in the tank. Cool swimming technique like i mentioned before, acted like a "bobber" for fishing to swim... Comical.
But yet agian, very nice tank setup, i like it...

iam amazed that your gobby didnt eat the smaller fronts:ROFL:

You think thats amazing? I also have 3 Siamese flying fox in there as well. Maybe 1.5"-2" still alive.

No issues with the Frontosas and the acidity from driftwood?

Interesting Combo, good work..

No issues so far and like my african cichlid tank I have crushed coral in the sand to counteract the driftwood for ph.

ALSO thank you to all the compliments. As always, its a work in progress.
