I did sell the 12 footer, and the green is gone as well. He went to a 7,000.00 gallon tank in Houston with a couple other morays. I decided I had the opportunity to donate him to a great home where he would have professional care and I took it. Really cool experience, and a bit sad.
My next huge project is temporary on hold. I have a 1991 300zx twin turbo with gt28rs turbos built for 1000whp stage 3 long block in the works
It's sucking money faster than I can make it but it should be finished up this next week.
Then I will locate a 175 - 240 temp tank and then begin on the large build for my mini MONSTERS

nice read, i know how it is to do the whole car mod bug, that hobby is more expensive than aquariums, i had a 900 + rwhp c5 corvette with a ysi supercharger and hkc forged 403 it was crazy fast but at some point, i had to walk away, now my main hobby is aquariums lol

I had it custom built. I don't think you can even find an aquarium builder in the US that has full 12ft sheets of acrylic. This was the guys first fish tank.

This is true! Largest sheets of acrylic are 10X6. Obviously I'm in the market for a monster tank, that's why I know this. I'm not talking Atlanta public aquarium acrylic, of course there's larger sheets of acrylic out there, I'm just talking about regular people type sheets of acrylic.
Yeah I can get you 12x8 1.2inch sheets of acrylic.. That's what I got for mine
