What is the difference between the stealth and deluxe? just the looks?

and how many temperature adjustments can I do?

I have a 40gallon breeder tank that is filled to 10-1/2" (out of 16") but which heater watt should I get?

the 10watt for 30gallons, or the 150watt for 45gallons?
I want the temperature to be atleast 78F

buy the biggest heater you can afford...My stealth just went out in my 125g, had it for five years and just replaced it with another stealth 250w, i love the total submersible quality of the stealth...i have it hidden in my sump

what does the adjustment reading say on the heater?
can it burn fish & turtles?

its in 2 degree increments mine goes up to about 90 on the dial--just bought a new one and the box says nothing about reptile or amphibian use

oh, can it burn your fish?

and what's the lowest temperature it can be set on?
and how long is the cord too?

you can buy heater guards for your heaters..

where?

How did you know it got burned out since there is no light on it?

The only real difference I could tell when I was heater shopping was the light up thermostat dial on the deluxe, wow. I bought the stealth, I've had another one for over a year in my jack dempsey tank (they like to bash heaters) and the stealth is one that takes the abuse without hurting my fish.

p.s. the stealth is advertised to stay within 1 degree of the set temperature, I've found in the two tanks I run that actually proves to be the case - so far.
