Yeah i just want to keep this going to show there growth for the first year.

When he was small it was bloodworms, in that pic was shrimp (the small salad size ones), or a whole tilapia fillet a night. Hes finally started to take it from my hand so im syked. His growth was an inch to an inch and a half a week but he hit the 13" mark and is finally starting to slow down.

What a dumb-ass you are, shooting down people's fun.

HAhaha that might result in an infraction.

Yeah i mean when you think about it alot of people cant house these guys and trying to see who can grow the fastest is a dumb idea but it is kinda fun. And at least it shows others how big they get in a years time. So hopefully in the end this will keep novice fish keepers from having them.

agreed but so far im really enjoying watching mine grow and trying to keep up his feeding and new homes (tanks) is very exciting and im loving every minute of it.

Yeah i know what ur talking about. It sucks now though i have to post pone my pond build. I just got 2 55s a 45 and 4 29s for free and a drilled 90 for 30 bucks. So i really want to get a saltwater tank up and running soon. But i got to get righ of the 29s first and about 7 JDs that they came with.

thats alot of tanks sell a few make a quick buck, throw it towards your pond

Yeah i figure ill sell the 29s use the 45 as asump for the 90 and the 2 55s have jds in them. one has a big male (beautiful) and 2 females that hes pair with one of them. I traded 9 of the JDs 5 of which were golds for a 12" silver arow, a endli bichir, and anothe baby RTC. Im givin the store about 4 others when they make room for them.
Then after 3 days the arow jumped out and died. But i want to set up the 90 as a salt first then start the 3500 pond. Im holdin off on the pond because thats a lot of digging with just a shovel haha.

well lets just keep this thread alive to document our RTCs growth. who agrees?

i joined when the this sort of started so im keeping my rtc and hybrid posts in here...sucks about the arow though think theyre a neet fish maybe some day i might get one..
