I'd look into buying foods for him at the grocery store. You can usually find items like smelts and silversides at the grocery store for a fraction of the price of what the pet store would charge.

Ya I know but I had to pick up a couple or rats for my pythons so It was just convenient

had my redtail for about 3 weeks hes only 2'5 inches or so, in a 30 gallon going to a 120, then a 300 before he goes into the pond
