Wow, I bet your son get's heavy some times. My lil guy is 3 1/2yrs old, 3ft tall, and pushing around 28 pds. And he gets heavy after a while, lol.
He was a premie though...

what are you feeding it? i think once it reaches a certain size growth starts to accelerate then taper off again.
