hmmm guess LEd is the future then....always thought the light wasn't intense enough to grow plants....hopefully the old lights will drop in price so I can get a new one for my 20 gallon ;]
i was doing some research and found out that they should be ok. these have been doing ok i guess, i am no plant expert though. see the above post for the price, look at my other thread on led lights for the actual link to this vender.
it was taken in the day so it will seem dimmer. i will make a night vid to show how it looks now. i just have a diatom algae problem. i may just use ro water for this tank since i will be doing a pair of discus and some tetras.
