jus finished reading all the posts on this tank. fixing it, cleaning and collecting the wood ans finally the build. it is amazing man. congrats on the beautiful tank and i hope its up and running for many years for u.
I haven't been on here to post in a long time. Been super busy with school. But I have some bad news, a few weeks ago my biggest pleco in the tank passed. He was 15 years.

hi there im just wondering what that yellow fish with the blue and red on its cheeks is called? its the 20th picture on the 11th page. i seen it on another website being called jack dempsey but when i search it up i get pictures of a blue fish with sparkly scales.....thank you
Looks nice. I just picked up the exact same tank (only with overflows).
The Glass Cages tanks seem really over-built and nice. Took us 4 guys to move the dang thing into my house. Super heavy tanks.
Just looking forward to seeing your new tank stand as I'm going to be building one for mine (and it sound like with a lot of the same features). I'm planning on doing a slide out drawer like feature for my sump as well. Should make maintenence super easy. When you make it/get it, put picks up asap.

Tank and stock really look great man, always wanted to do smth like this with cichlid community. However the dif water param required made me somewhat back off from the idea. I wonder what ur water parameters r, I'm guessing soft acidic? If u could also help me out with the diet, what do u feed ur fish? Also if u had any problems with agression, sickness, bloat or did any of the fish died? ( apart from the pleco I know about that one, sorry to hear about it )
