Alright I’m too buggered to follow up on species specific threads, so figured I’d just make one big old thread for each of the tanks and just document the fellas in there.

Starting with my 4ft tank.

The tank measures in at 4ft x 1.8ft x 2ft tall, giving it a volume of about 110 or so gallons.

In its current state it’s meant to be a riverbed style tank for some of my more aggressive or big-mouthed natives that won’t get along too well in my rainbow-inhabited six foot.

The tank is filtered by an old canister and two large sponge filters. As well as a large pothos vine.

Sand substrate with java fern, thin Val and a couple of amazon swords. Never grown swords before so we’ll see how they go. Currently treating them like how I treat Val so hopefully I get some success with them

Stocking wise, currently the tank is running:

3 Silver perch, Bidyanus bidyanus. 2 at about 15-20cm and 1 at about 8/10
1 Small eyed Gudgeon, Prinobutis macrops, around 15cm.
