The 90's

The 60+ Grateful Dead shows that I attended. Had some life altering experiences then, though I'm sure not all of them for the better... ;)

Thats a lot of shows in only 4 years.

My favorite part of the nineties was having a thick flowing mane of hair, if I tried to recreate that look today I'd look like Gallager.

No one has mentioned the best Nick shows yet-Salute your shorts, Hey Dude, and You can't do that on television...not to mention all the different versions of double dare

Yeah no doubt. Every vacation that I scheduled during those years revolved around at least 5 Dead shows. Crazy days !!!

I learned the fear of god, and dicovery channel shows with africans trips on my cable set, I remember puperty and how strange that was, and the power of discipline and pain. All of which was a nightmare, and the good will never out wiegh the bad although our minds are trained by the television to be in happy mode, until you have several breakdowns along the way. I am on to better and greater things.

Wow. You people are really young. With all this talk about rugrats and boy meets world. I thought that a thread about the 90s would be all about music, partying like rockstars, drinking all night, and freaky tales with the ladies... Not Nickelodeon, saturday morning cartoons, and diaper changes...

That was my thought as well after reading the thread, at first i was going to post about my 90's experience, then seeing all these posts about Rug Rats and Pokemon completely threw me off... i was one of those partying like a rock star, partying / raving all night long, and obviously have a lot more stories, but those would almost definitely get a some MFK vacation time...

But have to say, had some of the best times in the 90's... those really were the days for me, oh the fun i had...

Grunge

Can't say that the music was better then as a whole, although I sure do miss some of the styles, but the music that was played on the radio sure was. I miss just about everything from the 90's...at least the mid-90's. I hate most things 80's and I was born in '81. Ever since the new millennium, things have been going downhill...at least my life has, lol. I miss real classic rock and oldies on the radio...it's a shame what they don't play 50's on the oldies station anymore and play crap from the 80's. There is one good real oldies station, but it's on AM.

I can't say I enjoyed anything about the 90s. It produced the worst music ever created including the terrible grunge scene. Bravos and buttress may have been one of the best things to come out of it. A few other shows were good including Seinfeld. Other than that it sucked in my opinion.
