Re RM orino, my thought exactly after someone posted their sub adults in the media lounge. I said as much that they are closer to 'Rio Negro' type then 'venezuela'. I was right! What plesant surprise.

Awesome! How often do you do water change and how much? I see you have pbass and boulengerochromis microlepis housed together, did you strike a pH balance of 7 to 'accomodate' both SA and Africa cichlids?

The reason for my asking is because I am thinking of getting some BM too. Although I was told they look best in pH 8 or so.

And your Orino, are they from Rio Negro? They sure look like it to me.
