The all new shark POND

That's super nice! How is the humidity in your house? I am going to have to start looking into getting an HRV hooked up before it gets too cold here. Last winter I had water dripping onto my bed from the ceiling (condesation in attic?). I don't want to have to sleep curled around a pail again this winter!

Can I ask why you did'nt drill the sides and use bulkheads instead of up and over the sides and what brand/model of skimmer is that?

I didn't drill for a few reasons one being I would have had to change my entire filtration to accomodate new plumbing and I was also afraid of leaks and cutting the liner. The skimmer is AquaC EV 2000.

Turbo-sea 1740 and it runs amazingly well with the skimmer even though is not what they recommend. I've had 4 pumps on this skimmer varying from 3200 gph all the way to 2hp and this is by far the best. Completely optimized to it's potential, and it's a great skimmer.

AquaC makes the skimmer and yea it's pretty tall. It's sitting even with the garbage bins and it's much taller.

Finally found a tank mate that can go toe to toe with the lemon shark. A 2 foot bumblebee grouper. Pics will come.
