dont lose hope there is so much coool stuff you can do

go talk with mr.reef24 he has a 14inch puffer at his shop that would be a cool addition

maybe you could try a growing out a massive clowntrigger and a couple of eels
 
Don't give up man! If keeping sharks was easy every one would be doing it. You have a nice pond, just give it some time and try it again with something different. Maybe a white tip or black tip reef.
 
This hobby can sure can get us in a tizzy!! Maybe have somehting in there thats not so hard to take care of. Thats alot of work you put in there

sorry to hear about the shark death, but i think everyone else has got a good point. youve got the love for this to build all of these crazy tanks, you just had one sick fish which was makeing that huge tank empty. now you can actualy fill it up with more then two fish!
 
Sick set up!
I would deffinetely get more groupers and puffers and other big fish, dont give up, we all have our down times in this hobby, but you have an awesome set up! Dont give up on it!
 
go for coral banded cat's and rays with that grouper........ dont dream of giving up man accidents happen they suck but they happen, imagine what would have happened to the shark if someone else would have gotten it that didnt have your dedication.................. nuff said
 
as asked earlier how much humidity is in the house from that set up, thinking of a pond my self for my bamboo shark 3ft and growing.
