Yea, this is a hard habit to break once we have our large tanks with sharks in them. I am waiting for someone to call an interdiction team on me.

You are so lucky to have a shark, they are absolutely incredible! Very smart too, almost as smart as a cat
But why'd you put a delicous snapper in with a shark? The temptation to eat is far too great!

I actually was able to re-line the pond with a new 45 mil EPDM Firestone Pond liner and it looks great. Also replaced some of the wood around the pond which was quite the task because of the humidity making the wood similar in density to Redwood. Very hard to work with.
