mono and occel hybrids for the most part...however i did see what appears to be a full blooded mono in that same lake...

good to know...but man some of the males i saw there was amazing but you are absolutely right...once in a tank or out of breeding season the color goes back...
although when the few i kept fight in the tank their colors pop again...just need to make sure they fight all the time...

I probably won't be fishing these next two weeks either way man, but thanks for the consideration. This cold front will slow the bite significantly....
