Wow man, what a great review. I don't topwater fish at all, because of my location on the lakes here. I think this summer, I will try it for one of the first times with this lure. I also read a few of your other reviews, just wanted to say you do a great job!

Caught my first Australian Bass on a topwater on one of these in 1974 I was 13.
Still as effective today a classic.

I threw my first Hula Popper in the 70s too. 1979 if I remember correctly.
