Finally did see it so here goes
I thought it was really good overall. It was worth it and i would recommend it. I'm not a huge fan of the avengers but it was done right. I wish they did xmen, spawn, wolverine and daredevil and a bunch others like this.
That said, here's a few little things i had a problem with
SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HASN'T SEEN IT, STOP READING
First, hulk is my favorite out of the whole team. There was not enough hulk. But when he did show up he was awesome. The hulk in the movie with ed norton looked better imo.
Also, let me know if I'm missing something, but i think where they screwed up with hulk is this, when he first shows up, he's pissed off. Uncontrollable, was trying to kill black widow. ( that in itself was bs, hulk doesn't just blindly kill but whatever) then i was like wtf in the end where hulk shows up and all of a sudden he's a team player and seems intelligent enough to fight on the good side against bad guys and even save ironman. Huge hole in his role right there
Now about the villain, one thing that pisses me off about any movie is a weak villain. It kills a movie for me when that happens. This villain was waaaaaay too inconsistent. One moment he's god-like, untouchable, teleports, clones himself. Seems totally too powerfull for the good guys to handle. At first i was like, awe dang, avengers gonna have to dig deep to beat this guy. Next moment he's slow, vulnerable, easily beaten it seems at times. I didn't like that. I think for a movie like this where there's a whole team of powerful good guys, the bad guy needs to be stronger and more badass. The odds have to be against the good guys, it has to look grim for them and then when all seems lost they muster up enough badassery to win. They did accomplish this but not with the lead villain
But i am really excited about the clip in the end after the credits. Now that I'm looking forward to and they better not fluff that up. But with how wel they did this one i am confident it should be ok
