I hate super hero movies and all that *** marvel/DC crap. I did however really like the Ironman series, cause they aren't like your typical nerdy super hero movie. It was like a witty comedy action movie, felt like it didn't have much to do with comic books (although I know it did)
Avengers to me, was just Iron man 3. Robert downey jr was the only character that did ANYTHING. thor and captain america sat around doing nothing for half the movie. samuel L jackson who is supposed to be some kind of hero did nothing past the first 10 minutes. and scarlet johansson also follows this same problem.
I thought gerard butler (is that a hero too? very imaginative a guy with a bow) was a bad guy and when he joined up with them I found it hard to know if he was a regular guy or a "hero".
All in all the only characters in the movie I actually knew were Iron man, the Hulk and thor. I do have a life and have never read a comic book so I would've been more confused, if the movie didnt give robert downey jr 80% of screen time. although I like this.
I loved Iron man 3, it was a multiple super hero movie for people who know nothing about super heroes.
