Guess the prime wasn't the cure... He's still been shaking and twitching just as much, will chase the other fish then twitch, then go hide in his log for awhile and repeat. He seems to rub the bottom of his gill plates and mouth on the glass, flicks his find and shakes his head. Also does this spitting motion often, but what's weird is it may some how be linked to the food. I notice when I pick up the food container he starts doing the spitting motion over and over (he used to glass bang at the food container), and even more so when food enters the water. He eats but seemingly begrudgingly where he used to love his NLS all purpose formula. When I tried Thera A 1mm he absolutely hated it and has done the spitting motion since then, I think. I tried omega one, this made him really freak out, started head shaking and the spitting motion more... I just am at a complete loss as none of the other fish act abnormal, and have no idea what it could be. Still running the uv at kill parasite flow...

Grasping for straws:
I wonder if fish can have contact allergies? I know several *people who itch & tingle when certain things contact them, even common foods, such as some fruits etc.
If possible, try separating the EBJD in his own tank & feed red wigglers or something else natural. if allergies, even food in the water, which he hasn't eaten would aggravate it. therefore, it would "seem to" move around to different tanks.

edit add: um, even if fish can't have allergies in the same way mammals do, maybe things (besides chemicals) can just feel like irritants.
To test, you add single-ingredient, natural foods- one at a time. ie; earthworm pieces, then freshwater fish meat, etc etc.

try HBH super soft spirulina
works well with their digestive system w/ garlic and is super soft

black worms are extremely tasty and nutritious, but that may be what he will only eat after a while

good luck

Have tried a more natural parasite cure, on day four of doing salt baths, at 1.010. Seems to be helping, much more active, colors back to normal. Still see the occasional head shake or rubbing his jaw on the glass. Which is where the parasites seem to be located, when I transfer him to the temporary 12g set up for the salt baths, it has a strong bubbler and the bubbles get stuck to him only in one spot, right on his bottom jaw. Also I see sand get stuck here when he bites out of the sand. Any one know of any parasites that attack in this area?
