That looks like an XP3 filter intake. Why don't you get an in-line heater and put in on the return line of your XP3? That way your oscar can't break it and there's less clutter in the tank.

That is a good idea, but for now I put the new heater behind a emperor 400 intake. He is already trying to get at it, but it isn't moving
