Forgive me for being so negative, but I can't help but wonder whether swapping fish constantly is the reason that most of these fish are in good shape. It's an interesting short term experiment. I just hope it doesn't go on for too long, but it's obviously your right. Good luck with everything.[/QUOTE]

I fully understand you - no question you are a fish lover and I respect it very much. Below you will find a wider angle of the aquarium and you will see no signs of stress.... just harmony... maybe it's because of the music :) BTW, I try to keep only one males from every species to avoid territorial confrontation.

It does look awesome! I'm not going to criticize you in anyway.I'm sure you noticed your fosso has a scratchy eye,but one thing you may not know is that the Emperor may seem peaceful, but will try to eat whatever it can fit and sometimes too much. That blue dempsey looks about the right size for him to choke on.I'm only saying because I learned that lesson the hard way when my Emp.choked on a 4in. peacock. He seemed fairly peaceful, but they like to eat! That blackbelt female is nice, and the syn is bangin'!good job

I keep africans, madagascans, ca/sa cichlids together and have done for 6 months now with next to no issues. but thats cause I chose fish that I knew would coexist. all the fish are bred in captivity so they arent very picky with PH etc because they are more hardy they are more likely to coexist in the same water. and as for personality as long as they aren't Mbuna, you can happily mix haps with medium aggression level american cichlids

Nice tank setup. Like the variety

Like your tank and from the looks of your water and stock you are doing a good job. There is always going to be someone on the forum who doesn't like your tank/stocking...if you like it and are doing the best for your fish thats all that matters. Your stocking isn't something I would do but it is beautiful. Heck, there are a lot on here that hate blood parrots and thats pretty much all I keep...hasn't ever stopped me from keeping them.

Thank You. You are perfectly right.
I like to listen to ppl and see other views and perspective. I don't consider it as criticisms but more of sharing views and concern and I usually respect it when it's coming from the right chamber of the heart....
