Here's my timeline and a good growth rate chart for a female jaguar cichlid (parachromis managuense). I've had her from January 2010 to present, she is now about 8 inches.
January 2010

1 year later 6 inches

Sept 2011 appr. 7-8 inches much fatter and darker

Do you remember about when you got him, I'm curious on the growth rate, I've had mine for about 3 months now and he's growing about an inch a month. fromm 2"-4/5"
