Earlier I watched a film called Grave Encounter. It was pretty good, started off kind of Blair Witch like but as it picked up it went off on it's own.I recommend it.

I thought I was going to finally get to watch Silent Hill in its entirety but I ended up falling asleep on it at some point and it was almost finished when when I came to.

I liked it. The second one isn't as good, but not bad. They were both shot at our local psych hospital (I believe it's closed down). The scene with the bathtub and sinks was shot exactly how they found the room.

Interesting and I wasn't aware of a sequel.I'll have to look out for it...We had a great big old psych facility here at the edge of the city that's been closed down for years. It's on a huge plot of land and it's called Byberry and it consists of a few large buildings that are said to be connected by underground tunnels so it really came to mind when I saw the film.

sequel sucks from what I recall. wasn't total garbage but it wasn't as good as part 1. and that's not even saying a lot. i think i had asked about the sequel in one of your movie threads krich. the first one was ok but I really only watched the sequel because I am intrigued by the red pyramid. he's an awesome character

i had already heard the sequel was a let down but i saw it anyways. i guess it's worth a watch if you have time to kill.

I never knew the name of the character so I wasn't sure which movie you were referring to lol.I looked it up and learned of the Silent Hill sequels that I don't recall hearing about before.

I can't take gore and watching people being tortured, so I don't like most horror movies. Did like See No Evil, though, but probably just because Kane was in it...looking forward to the sequel later this year. I do like monster movies and sort-of horror movies like Gothica. Do listen to music with some f'd up lyrics, though.

Haha how about that...The place got closed down due to mismanagement and abuse and all kinds of lawsuits being filed...The vacant buildings have long been popular hangouts for vagrants and kids looking for scary fun times.Lots of it has been torn down recently to make way for housing.

Then you wouldn't like the flick I caught last night called "Would you rather"...
