Actually, I praised that tranny. When I went back to get it, the mechanic told me the bands were wrong(meant for a different tranny) and the starter was also wrong. He was shocked it even ran.
That was in 1989. I sold it(Mustang) in 2011 on that same build. I did replace that starter in 2008 but it was still working(bad guess work on my part)

I know there are a lot of fun cars to drive (lord knows I own one) that aren't the "best looking." I think the solution is more car threads.
