what about other expenses, family, insurance, rent... not everyone has so much luxury as you mr bigshot.

Then don´t do it. Look i love sharks. I would love to keep them. But i could not afford it. I could maybe build them a tank where they can survive but i don´t think thats good enough for such beautiful animals. Our animals should not suffer under composmises we must do because we can´t afford any better.

Stop bragging about your income. You're not the only one who works for a multinational, Fortune 500 company. Show some humility.

maybe 50 bucks a month is not much, but 50 a week, a day, little much for many people and that is how much damage large bichirs can do.

Oh dear now he's making us all look poor NOT!
Who cares how much money you make, money isn't everything,I'd much rather have a personality than that,by the way I wouldn't get into a Darius earns more than.....
Because I think you would be surprised, come on mods I've never complained about anybody before but this guy is ruining the forum.

How about methods to protect the plants? I use roots and stones to prevent their destruction ;). So far it works and i had no big loss yet. I think its worth the try to offer my animal hiding spots so it feels comfortable and stays healthy. Thats my opinion and i won´t change my opinion about that.

Nobody but you has thought of that obviously lol, maybe when your ornate is bigger you will change your mind and bragging about what you earn is ridiculous some people on here spend more on a fish than you earn in a month so I'd keep quiet about what you earn its making you look even more embarrassing.

i try as well, but real plants are difficult to protect. unless you leave them in the pot which is ugly IMO they can and will muscle rock out of the way.I make a little maze of driftwood and rocks while using a dim light to give them hiding spots.

Thats a good idea. I also thought about some species of epiphytian fern and anubias. You can place it on the driftwood and it looks pretty neat.
