Three of the new bichirs have been identified!
Polypterus palmas buettikoferi, AKA Who's-a-hat
Polypterus palmas buettikoferi, AKA What's-a-hat
Polypterus palmas buettikoferi, AKA Jehoshap-hat
These guys rolled into town direct from Lancaster County, PA where as near as we can tell, everyone where's-a-hat:

Who's-a-hat was going to join the bichir-gang, but who's-a-hat would have been lonely in the bag solo, so what's-a-hat joined him. This of course left Jehoshap-hat alone at the store, so he had to join the gang too. Makes sense to me.
What I can't make sense to me is how to tell "the boys from Lancaster County" apart from the fourth PPB from Portland.
Have any of you heard this poly's name? Seriously, help a green guy out. Oregon-Trail-Hat?
