Well, my days at college are done. I will be moving home next week and 6 running tanks have to come home with me. The move is 126 miles (a little over 2 hours) back to my parents house. I will be starting a marketing internship and it is only about 20 minutes from home, so unfortunately this move is only temporary, until I get a "real" job.

The first two tanks are home, a 125 that was just filled minutes ago, and a 40 breeder that I'm in the process of resealing.

I will try my best to photo document as much of the move as time allows, but here are some details.

Moving home
3 RBP
2 Synspilium
1 TSNxRTC
1 ARTC
1 TSN
1 Belly Crawler Pike
2 Green Sunfish
1 Peacock Bass
3 Convicts
~50 convict fry
1 Black P
4 Rocket Gar
1 ID shark
1 African Cichlid -unknown
2 Plecos

With some help from my soon-to-be sorely missed LFS, I'm getting bags, that blue calming med., and some boxes that have the Styrofoam lining.

I will be getting a U-haul for the 6 tanks and various stands.

My parents basement has had additional wiring installed to accommodate the new tanks.

Along with my hobby everything else I've acquired over the past few years has to come with, ugh. Good news, it is supposed to be in the 40's on Wednesday when most of the fish are being moved so that should make it a little more pleasant for me at least.

I'll update as often as possible.

Living off campus, in a house that water was not charged for. They also did allow pets except for fish, and they did not restrict tank size or quantity. HA!

Money wise, I work a lot, and one of those jobs was at the LFS where after a short period of time I started getting everything I buy at cost or close to it, I also got to help with ordering (everyone's dream I'm sure). The tanks I acquired via Craigslist, and a lot of equipment I picked up used from the fish store.

Most of the collection was built up over the last year, not coincidentally about the time I discovered this site.

whoa now thats what any one would call obsession

Good luck!

I'm starting my masters next year and will be moving soon... 55g, 20g, 10g, and a 5g ;)

I'm going to be buying a 130g tank for the new place too... yes, my life is school and fish :o
