sounds like a nice setup you had. good luck w/ the move

This is why my ass ain't moving until I get done with school! Already had to move tanks once, don't want to do it again.

GL!!

I moved my tanks from SF to Las Vegas a few months back and amazingly they all made it!! It is hard...but it can be done!!

Happy Travels:)

i know how it feels, i have moved a couple tanks a couple times from college to home. and i will be doing it again in may. i have to my my 90, 55, and 16. from my apartment to my parents for a couple months then its of to my new house or apartment. the 90 and 55 occupants not to worried about but the 16 is SW so that will be a little more tricky. GL with the move

Update, we started today at noon with the move. I'm just sitting down for the first time, so 12 hours... ugh. On the up side everything survived the move so far. I even ended up with two extras LOL, the fish store called this morning to let me know that he had gotten two more 3-4" florida gar in so, I couldn't resist, and when I went to get the boxes and bags from him, they came with.

I didn't get to take any pictures of the loading, but if you've seen someone bag fish at the store that's pretty much what it looked like, about 25 bags worth. The ARTC got his own box, as did the RBP's.

Now the 125 has all three big cats, but the ARTC was taking the first few minutes to bump into the littler cats as he swam by, little does he know that the hybrid will soon outgrow him and probably eat him, bad attitude and all.

I'm exhausted, I'm going to get some sleep, I have to be up to drive back to school around 6 since I have a class I can't miss at 10.

Pics to come of the new setup, I promise.

Well, the move has been very stressful both on my fish and their keeper. So far I have lost both of my female convicts. One yesterday and one today, due to a white cloudy growth all over the body, the male that was with them seems to be doing fine, all of the young are gone. about 50-70.

My tsn and tsn x rtc are afflicted with ich, I just moved them into a quarantine tank. The dorsal fin of the hybrid is shredded. I'm not sure if the bigger artc did it or if the small kenyi that is in there might have done it.

I don't know, i'm starting to regret having so many fish, it's a royal pain in the butt to move everything around, and until the paychecks from my new job start coming in I can't afford anything except to do the best I can with what I have. I'm exhausted...

I had such a beautiful pair of convicts too... :(

I'm afraid that my cats might not make it, they've been pretty stressed and now I had to move them again to get them in a quarantine tank, I can only provide them a sketchy heater at best too. So, I hope I can keep them the right temp. I wasn't prepared to separate them from the big tank...:(

I'm sure things will get better, right?
