My new addition a big diamond of some sort rhom. He's close to 14 inch long and 8 inches wide. Got him for a great deal. He's in a 75 gal at my buddy's house for now but planning to upgrade to a 180gal soon. I have a 6 inch black diamond piranha for sale I'm from Portland, OR no shipping. PM me an offer very motivated to sell.

Sweet pick-up. I too may be in the market for a large Rhom soon. Miss the one I had years ago. Congrats!

I like his body shape, it screams beast from the Wild.

I bet no much messed with this top dog in the wild. He is a brute.

You must give this guy a fitting name.

nice diamond, love the high back. get the 180g soon before it develops a huge chimple in the 75g.
hope you will keep posting pix and maybe videos on this beast.

I'll name him Manson lol. Once I find a 180 gal and get it up and running I'll post more pictures. I plan to decorate the tank with driftwood, some plants, and lots of tetras. Is their a type of canister filter you guys recommend that won't suck up the tetras?

shouldn't have issue with canisters, at least mine never got suck into canister, only wet/dry.
you can always put a pre filter on the intake if you worry.
what filter you have in mind?

What a monster ! :nilly:

Seen equally sized peru rhoms in person but never a diamond :WHOA:

Beautiful rhom ;)

I'm running a eheim 2260 on my 144g with a 11" piraya, the tetras don't have any problems with the current, intake, or piraya.

Imo the real manson does not deserve the honour.

I'm planning on getting a fluval fx5 and a power head for more current. I notice he likes to hang out in front of my friends blower. Any guess on which type of diamond rhom this could be? My guess is gold diamond.
