Its funny because the whole reason I got my first tarantula was to get over my mild arachnophobia and it really snowballed from there. I had over 300 at one point from breeding.

same reason i got my rosehair. I think i will stick to snakes and turtles though.

Accidentally, never had a bug bite or sting me during the five years I've been keeping and breeding them. Intentionally I let one of my V. coahuilae sting me on the knuckle to get a better idea of what people meant when they said it was "like a bee sting" For the record, bee stings are so much worse.

Thanks for the compliments, I enjoyed keeping them all.

I got bite by a spider at a reptile show and it melted the skin around the bite for some reason can't remember the name of spider it was orange and mean as heck but no harm I just have a nice scar from it.
